2007 - 2008 Board of Directors

Sharon Ringel Glick is a financial consultant for Financial Network Investment Corporation, one of the largest independently managed securities firms in the country. She is also an Advisory Associate for Financial Network, a Registered Investment Advisor. Sharon received her MBA from the University of Chicago with an emphasis in Finance and Accounting. She is a licensed CPA and a member of the Illinois CPA Society.

Sharon and her husband Dr. Gerald Glick are the proud parents of four Akiba-Schechter alumni -- David (1977), Bonnie (1979), Douglas (1981), and Caroline (1982). Sharon served as president of the Akiba-Schechter Board of Directors twenty years ago, and was pleased to come back onto the Board with a new generation of leadership. The Glick family is delighted with the dramatic growth and dynamism of this new generation at Akiba-Schechter -- the children, the staff, and the parent leaders.

As President of the Sisterhood of Akiba-Schechter’s neighbor, Congregation Rodfei Zedek, Sharon has worked to strengthen the Jewish community of Hyde Park. She and Gerald enjoy traveling, especially to Israel.
