I always try to keep in mind that they are young children and have not been around that long! Therefore, a reserved or quiet approach helps at times: be a mother and a teacher.

I enjoy finding new art projects for the children that are both visual and fun to do. I also like my trips to the library in search for new books to read, and music from different cultures.

I was a stay at home mom until my children attended Akiba's Pre-School. I began teaching here in 1996. Before having children, I was a freelance photographer and sold photographic supplies.

I was born in Chicago and now reside in the south suburbs with my husband, two children, and dog. I enjoy traveling, gardening, and golf, and just being with my family.
