Ready! Set! Go!

Children should be allowed to learn through exploration. In our classroom, we provide a nurturing environment in which young children are able to learn in this manner at their own pace. I care deeply about children's education, and it is important to me that children of all ages learn to be active participants in cooking.

Before coming to Akiba in 1998, I attended the Midwest Montessori Teacher Training Center, and became a full-time mother of two children who now attend Akiba-Schechter's middle school. I have an AB from the University of Chicago, and I was born in Oxford, England.

I enjoy reading, cooking, films, and spending time with my family.
