I try to be respectful of the child to allow him or her to continue to be a child and not take on responsibilities too early. A child's play is very important.

I love to sing and to incorporate music and drama into the classroom experience.

Before working at Akiba in 2003, I taught acting and modeling for children and adults. I formerly worked in theatre and public relations before becoming a full-time mom. I was born in South Bend, Indiana.

I have an 8 year-old son who attended the Akiba-Schechter Pre-School.
