Upstairs Green Room

In the Upstairs Green Room we try to treat each child as an individual. We focus on recognizing and appreciating all our differences and similarities.

I have a Master of Arts in Social and Cultural Studies of Education, have studied gifted education in addition to elementary education. I taught eighth grade for four years before coming to Akiba in 2002.

I was born in Chicago, and I have a newborn daughter, and a son who attends Akiba's Pre-School. My hobby is photography, and my subject used to be urban landscapes, but now I photograph my family.
